I finished building and painting my Estes Sizzler® on November 27,
1998. I launched this rocket the very next day in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Using an Estes C5-3 engine, the Sizzler® soared up into the air and
after the kick of its ejection charge, the rear engine pod was ejected
and the parachute was deployed. This rocket does not require recovery
wadding because of this unique rear ejection system. The rocket
returned softly to the ground.
